Today is the New Year's Day. I have a three-day holiday, so I can go out have fun or stay at home to have a good rest. Today, my parents take me out. We go to the mall.

Many things are cheap so my mother buys many. I have a new cloth and a pair of shoes. I am so happy. They are the gifts for the New Year. At night, we have a big dinner outside. The foods are so delicious. Today is a happy day.

On that day,I went to the Book City with my classmates.We bought a lot of useful reference books and interesting story books.I believe "Knowledge is power".I hope I can learn a lot from these books and improve my study.In the evening,my family had a big dinner party.All the members in my family wished me a good luck in the new year.

We saw many boats in the lake.Later on,we went to my grandfather's home.There are many trees and some flowers.
