主語從句是最基本的從句之一了，很簡單的，比起定語從句等簡單多了，説簡明通俗點，意思就是找到做主語的成分，例如That he finished writing the composition in such a short time surprised us all中That he finished writing the composition in such a short time就是作了整個句子的主語，記住1個句子裏面只能有1個動詞，多的動詞用在從句中或者用連詞或者分號連接，像上面那句surprise就是整個句子的謂語。

簡單的説，（1）主語從句即用that,whether,who,what,whatever等 引導的從句

(2)連詞位於句首不能省略

(3)主語從句大多數情況下視為第三人稱單數，但也有例外，如 例： What we need are good doctors
