Last Sunday Lin Hao, one of my classmates, and I went to a bookstore. At a counter a foreigner was talking to a clerk, but the clerk didn't understand what the foreigner said. So we went up to him and asked if he needed help in English. After knowing what he really wanted, we took him to the counter he was looking for. He was interested in Chinese folk music very much. We gave him some advice on what to choose. The foreign guest picked some music tapes with our help. He was pleased and thanked us a lot. Though it took us some time to help him, we were happy anyway.。

After several weeks preparation, Students Union will have a Second-hand Book festival in the faternoon this Friday. All students can bring their books that you don't need anymore to the event and show them to others. Not only the text books, but also novels, fashion magazines, etc are accepted.

This event will start at 1pm and end at 4:30pm.

You can sell your books or exchange with other students from other classrooms. Student Union will exhibit and sell some second-hand books as well and will donate all incomes to charity. If any students want present their books or selling books fees are welcome.
