英語“年齡”表示法

1ر表示“整歲”，直接用基數詞或year,age，例如“他20歲”可表示為：

He is twenty.

He is twenty years old.

He is a twenty-year-old man.

He is aged twenty.

He is at age twenty.

He is at the age of twenty.

He is twenty years of age.

2ر表示“在某人幾十多歲”，用“in one's +基數詞複數形式”，例如：

他七十多歲。He is in his seventies.（從70歲到79歲之間）

她五十多歲。She is in her fifties.（從50歲到59歲之間）

還可以藉助early,middle,late來表達得更明確一些，例如：

那女孩今年二十二、三歲。The girl is in her early twenties.

他今年十四、五歲。He is in his middle teens.

她今年二十八、九歲。She is in her late twenties.

3ر表示“快滿多少歲”用進行時或將來時，例如“他快滿十八歲了”可説成：

He is getting on for eighteen.

He is going on eighteen years old.

He will be eighteen years old.

It will be his eighteenth birthday.

4ر表示“不滿多少歲”，用副詞barely,nearly,al- most,quite,yet,just等，例如“她不滿十七歲”有以下幾種説法：

She is barely /nearly /almost seventeen.

She is not quite /yet seventeen.

She is just under seventeen.

5ر表示“差多久滿多少歲”用介詞off，例如：

他差5個月就滿19歲了。He is five months off nineteen.

她再過3年就50歲了。She is three years off fifty.

6ر表示“超過多少歲”用介詞past，例如：

他已年過50。He is past fifty.

他是一個過了中年的人。He is a man past middle age.

那孩子兩歲零兩個月。The baby is two months past two years old.

age和year old可用於準確的年齡，其句型為：

A:one's age(s)+be+數字

如：1.My age is nine.我的年齡是9歲。

2.Their ages are 8,7,and 6. 他們的年齡是8歲，7歲和6歲。

B：人+be+數字+（years old）

如：1.My brother is ten (years old).我弟弟10歲了。

2.I am thirteen (years old). 我13歲了。

另外，表示年齡大約多少歲時，可用下列介詞短語（以50歲為例）：

1.above （或over） fifty 50多歲

2.below （或under） fifty不到50歲

3.nearly fifty將近50歲

4.in one's fifties 50多歲（50~59歲）
